Wall mounted water walls use slab stone mounted either side by side to
create a wide water wall, or top to bottom to create a tall water wall.
Using either technique the stone does not touch the mounting wall so water proofing is not necessary.
Using conventional techniques, adhesive to secure the stone to the wall,
can create waterproofing, potential splashing and maintenance problems particularly if the finished wall is not completely
flat.
Conventional techniques also leave you with the problem
of catching the water at the bottom of the water wall and building a bottom catch tank into the floor.
Our stone mounting techniques solve all these problems.
“Landscape” style water wall using four pieces of Cosmos
granite mounted side by side. Typical maximum height is around 9 foot depending upon stone availability. Width
is only limited by budget.
Water wall is 16 foot wide by 8 foot high.
“Portrait” style water wall using three pieces of Black
Matrix granite mounted on top of each other. Typical maximum width is around 9 foot depending upon stone availability.
Height is realistically limited by pump head heights (~20 foot), however, this may be overcome depending upon budget.
